Do we prevent somebody being hurt by superstition or faith by rejecting and challenging those things?

Is it mistaken to support organised religion in membership or donations?

If people do good because they are human, not because God prompts them then is it right to risk giving God any credit when they alone own their good?

HOW DARE YOU ASSESS FOR YOURSELF THAT GOD EXISTS AND THEN BY YOUR OWN AUTHORITY SAY HE IS RIGHT TO ALLOW BABIES TO DIE IN AGONY!

People have to reason to see if a revelation could be from God. So even if God gave it is not the point. It still comes back to human assessment. And human nature would pretend that its deliberations are from God. So faith in what men and prophets say is what this is all about. How dare you think faith in men gives you the right to comment on other people’s suffering fitting God?

If it is logically possible for God to reveal that is no good to us and does not tell us what we need to know, “Where is the real revelation from God to be found?” It tells us to search and to be ready to accept that maybe there is no revelation.

Christianity has a clarion call to “Love the Lord”. That means love the one you are to give unconditional obedience to and love his lordship. It implies that to love him you must obey him.

This is evil for if God is untrue then it is evil to waste devotion on him and the reason he is untrue is because he would be evil so that is bad as well.
