Do we prevent somebody being hurt by superstition or faith by rejecting and challenging those things?

Is it mistaken to support organised religion in membership or donations?

If people do good because they are human, not because God prompts them then is it right to risk giving God any credit when they alone own their good?

RELIGION'S HYPOCRISY ABOUT TELEVISION

Religion has plenty to say against sex on television but hardly anything against violence. The Christians and Catholics adored the sick snuff movie, The Passion of the Christ though it was replete with violence. The poisonous religious influence has stopped hardcore porn and images of sexual penetration being shown on television. The censors won't have it. But filmmakers, why not make synthetic erect penises and show them entering synthetic vaginas? That way real actors could perform sex scenes and filmed in such a way to make it seem that they really had sex when they didn't.
